Who is Stoccr for?
Stoccr is for small businesses that need to keep track of parts and tools across stockrooms, vehicles and other locations. That includes plumbing, HVAC, electrical, maintenance and repair businesses, from sole operators to teams.
How do I get started?
Choose a plan, create your first location and add the parts you use most, or import them from a spreadsheet on the web. Enter your starting counts, then record use and deliveries as you work. Add more locations and invite your team when you’re ready.
Will Stoccr work for a one-person business?
Yes. Keep your stockroom and vehicle in one inventory, with a separate count for each. Business includes up to 3 locations. You can use it on your own and invite people whenever you need to.
What counts as a location?
A place where you keep a separate stock count, such as a stockroom, storage unit or service vehicle. A shelf or bin reference within a location does not count as an extra location.
Do I pay extra for team members?
No. Invite your team without increasing the subscription price. Business includes up to 3 working locations and Business Plus includes up to 10. Both have the same inventory and team features.
Does Stoccr work without signal?
Yes, on your phone. Once your inventory has synced, you can look up saved items, scan linked codes and record use, deliveries, transfers, counts and tool moves offline. You can record offline changes for up to 7 days after the last sync; reconnect to send them and refresh your inventory. Adding or editing items, minimums, refill targets, locations and your team needs a connection. The web app also needs a connection.
If a change cannot be accepted when you reconnect, for example because an item has since been archived, Stoccr keeps it on your phone for review and shows you what needs attention.
Can I use the barcodes already on my stock?
Yes. Link a barcode to an item once, then scan it on your phone to look up stock and record changes. Stoccr reads common barcodes and QR codes, including EAN, UPC, Code 128 and Data Matrix. If an item has no code, print a Stoccr label on a standard Avery sheet.
Can I import my existing spreadsheet?
Yes. On the web, upload a CSV or Excel file with up to 2,000 rows for one location. AI helps read the columns, and you review the details before importing. Import creates new items; it does not update items already in your catalogue.
Does Stoccr order parts for me?
No. Stoccr gives you a restock list based on your recorded counts, minimums and refill targets. You decide what to order or transfer, then record it when the stock arrives.
Can I track tools as well as parts?
Yes. If you have three identical drills, each gets its own number, label and recorded location. You can see its move history as it goes between locations. Stoccr does not provide live GPS tracking or track who is holding a tool.
Can I keep using my job management software?
Yes. Keep using your existing software for jobs, scheduling and invoices, and use Stoccr for parts and tools. There are no direct integrations with those systems. You can export Stoccr reports to CSV or Excel when you need to use the numbers elsewhere.
